We love students here at FBR and we want YOU to join us!
Our mission is to ENGAGE teens in our community, EQUIP students with biblical principles, and EMPOWER students for mission and ministry.
Engaging teenagers in our community
Engaging teenagers in our community with the love and message of Jesus Christ is on the forefront of everything we do at FBR Students. We always want to be advancing the Gospel and spreading the Good News of Jesus Christ.
Equipping students with Biblical principles to reach their maximum potential
We have several opportunities where students can get involved so they can deepen their relationship with God. On Sunday mornings, we have our LifeStudies for teenagers. Typically, we will have a time of worship just for teens, a large group teaching time led by the student pastor, and then break into age divided LifeStudy groups. In these groups teens will meet other peers their age, discuss the Bible in a more age appropriate way, and learn how to apply it to their everyday life. We also have a daily devotional that we have created so students will have something in their hands to help develop their discipline of spending time with God daily.
Empowering students for ministry in the church and missions in the world
"For even the Son of Man came not to be served but to serve” - Mark 10:45 One of our goals at FBR Students is to get as many teenagers involved in serving as we can. We are empowering many students on a weekly basis to serve inside our church in areas of media, music, cooking, check-in, greeting, childcare, and other areas. We also have things throughout the year such as Hunger Hurts where our students are able to help Hope Network give food to many families in need. During the summers we have short-term mission trips where our students are able to give up a few days and go serve in places such as the Milestone Youth Center, Kentucky, and Jamaica. We want to empower teens to go serve their friends, community, and the world so they can help spread the love of Jesus to those who do not know him.
