Next Steps

Taking the step of faith to follow Jesus Christ is the greatest step you will ever take. It’s the one action that will allow you to experience new opportunities and gain a new perspective of life and what God has in store for you.

In the Bible Jesus said, “…I have come that they may have life and have it abundantly”  (John 10:10).

That abundant life begins the moment you step over the line of faith. But that is just the beginning. Are you ready to take the first step on this new journey? Here's what you need to know to take that first step:

Yet to all who received him, to those who believed in his name he gave the right to become children of God. (John 1:12)

“For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” (Jeremiah 29:11)

For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God. (Romans 3:23)

But your iniquities have separated you from your God; your sins have hidden his face from you, so that he will not hear. (Isaiah 59:2)

For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord. (Romans 6:23)

But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.  (Romans 5:8)

For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. (John 3:16)

...if you confess with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,”. and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. (Romans 10:9-10)

You may still have questions. You may even have doubts. That’s OK. But don’t let those questions or doubts stop you from moving forward. Use those things to fuel your walk with Christ. And continue to experience the abundant life - one step at a time.
