Electronic Check-In

First Baptist Raytown takes the safety and security of our preschoolers very seriously. Our electronic check-in system has many features that help us accomplish this:

  • printed name badge for each child
  • a dual parent badge
  • randomly generated security code assigned to each child/family printed on both badges
  • allergy information and special instructions printed on the child’s badge
  • parents’ contact information printed on badges
  • teachers and volunteers match parents’ badge to child’s badge upon pick up

Check-In Stations
Kid City Check-In Area – located on the 1st floor between A and B buildings at our 75th Street entrance.

Early Nursery – located on the 2nd floor of A building on the east side (infant-toddler classes)

Older Nursery – located on the 2nd floor of A building on the west side (preschool 2s and 3s classes)

Secured Areas
The preschool and children’s classes are located in “secured” areas. An electronic key card is required to enter these areas. If you do not have an electronic key card, see the check-in volunteer for assistance.

Check-In FAQs
Q: Which children will need to be checked in?
A: All children from birth through 4th grade will need to be checked in by a parent/designated adult (must be at least in 9th grade)

Q: If I have more than one child, will I receive more than one parent badge?
A: No. The dual parent badge may be torn in half to allow parents to pick up children in different areas.

Q: What if I cannot find my family or child on the self check-in station or screen?
A: Please see the volunteer in the area for assistance.

Q: Will I need to check my child out?
A: Yes, but not electronically. You will need to show your child’s teacher your parent badge and the teacher will match the security code to your child’s badge.

Q: Can I give my parent badge to a grandparent, older sibling, or someone else to pick up my child?
A: Yes, but anyone picking up children must be in at least 9th grade.

Q: What if I lose my parent badge?
A: You will need to provide the teacher with your driver’s license/picture ID.

Q: What if the printer jams and my badge does not print?
A: Each check-in area is manned by friendly volunteers who are happy to assist you.
